These rankings are as of the episodes premiering November 22nd to November 28th

S: Must Watch

Episodes I believe you must watch or are missing out on.

1. DAN DA DAN. Ep. 9

This anime is so weird, but I love it for being so. I’ll say the enemies are creative, seeing a mantis shrimp enemy is cool but even stranger for me as I’ve been seeing a lot about them recently. Very cool fights overall, but man that ending would have had me dropping out of school the next day.

2. Bleach. Ep. 8

Mayuri. That is all. Of course, I expected just as much from Mayuri, truly one of my favorite characters in all of Bleach. So weird and arrogant, I believe he was the only capable of beating this opponent, and in a fascinating way as well. Modifying his Bankai as he did to counter his opponent, as horrifying as it is, is just so cool. His fights are always great because the come down to him just being smarter, would love to see more of him but I doubt we will.

A: Very Good

Good episodes, anime I would recommend to someone looking for something to watch.

3. Demon Lord 2099. Ep. 7

YES! Machitol (VelChina?") hearts unite! Veltol displayed why he as demon king, and the merit needed to be as such, overwhelming power. I liked that they had it one very one sided, such is the power that once ruled but it also shows that Gram is incredibly powerful as well. Favorite part of the episode? Not even close, confession of love of course. Gram may have also gotten himself a nice partner as well. Where do we go from here? I’m not sure but I look forward to it.

5. Blue Box. Ep. 10

Welp, time to move on. I’m just kidding, though it would be a very interesting twist if Taiki did decide to move. It’s much easier said than done however so I look forward to how their relationship will develop, I expect a breaking point where either of the realize they must confess, though I believe it will only lead to failure if it comes from Taiki himself.

7. Rurouni Kenshin. Ep. 9

Great fight and reveal, Kenshin is someone to be feared and he displayed it in this episode. Seriosuly, this guy never runs out of sword techniques, I’d love to see his youth and training as well. With a new Sakaboto, I look forward to more fights but also the return of more characters.

4. Ranma 1/2. Ep. 8

Oh man, Ranma is never going to forget that but he made sure to get his revenge with incredible precision. He’s much more dangerous then he lets known, but he’s still out of his element on the ice rink. The ending scene also had me feeling the same as everyone else, just get it over with you lovebirds!

6. Dragon Ball DAIMA. Ep. 7

Nice to see some action from everyone else, supreme kai stood out as well and gave us a classic moment by taking off the collar. We’re getting a big fight next week which I look forward given the level of animation we’ve gotten so far.

B: Good/Solid

8. If My Wife Became an Elementary School Student. Ep. 9

Really glad we’re focusing on Keisuke now, his progression is by far the most vital towards a good resolution to this story and it seems we are going in that direction. It’s understandable that he doesn’t want to lose Takae, she’s his beloved wife after all. But understanding the pain Takae is going through has made him realize that he can’t continue as such. As for how he’s going about building the confidence and courage to move on, well I’m sure he’s doing his best. So far, I’m glad I picked this up. I did so because so many were trashing it and believing it would be a terrible story with a Lolo, but it has turned out to be a heartwarming story about loss and moving forward. I believe Takae’s time will come soon, but her family will show her that they can smile and be well thanks to her, and that they will continue to do so even after she passes. I mean, that’s just a great story.

10. Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii. Ep. 7

Yoshino’s inner yakuza only makes Kirishima fall even harder for her, seems she played herself here as Kirishima is sure to win their bet and make the most of his victory spoils. That is, of course, if he and Shouma don’t kill each other before hand. Those two are the definitions of I don’t like your existence and I doubt even Yoshino can stop them if they decide to just duke it out.

12.

Negative Positive Angler. Ep. 9

A nice rained in episode, watching everyone at work just trying to fill time is nice, even if someone is left doing all, but little, work there is. With even get some nice moments with the debt collectors. Again, I must voice my concern with the prevailing drama here, at this point I’m wondering if he remembers his own time limit.

9. 2.5 Dimensional Seduction. Ep. 21

Aw man, this is the best episode yet. As someone who likes to write I can understand the connection a creator has with their work. Connecting that to the authors daughter as well makes for a very nice way to drive the conflict and resolution. The overwhelming regret he must have felt after the failed marriage and the cancelation of his beloved work is enough to break anyone, and it did break him but he was able to continue by pulling himself forward despite being miserable in many aspects of life. With new found motivation and the realization that he can make works beloved others alongside his daughter forgiving him, I’m sure the newfound days will be very nice. I know this is idealistic, but I would like this anime to get Aria’s parents back together. It’s not often explored in anime, but it would be nice to see just once. Well, even if it doesn’t happen, great episode nonetheless. Also made me realize that this manga must be very popular with artist and mangaka.

11. Blue Lock. Ep. 8

I know there are some people who watch this show and just think, gosh this is so unrealistic. Of course, some of the things they do can be, but I’m fortunate enough to say a lot of isn’t that out of this world. I play soccer a lot and have played with some people who just have unreal skill. It’s cool to see that displayed in Blue Lock and such a hype way, the Itoshi brothers are just that good. Still, Blue Lock 11 are stealing my heart, those last few seconds were just awesome.

C: It’s ok/Fine

These are shows I happen to pick up but struggle to finish. Still watchable, but not without a good break in between episodes.

13. Loner Life in Another World. Ep. 10

Ok you get your points back, or do you?! We’ll need to wait and see but we now have a nice problem to solve, though I’m sure it will just end with the group defeating the stampede or something along those lines. Change the last two episode into cute girl goes on adventure and all if forgiven.

D: Do Not Recommend

Shows I do not recommend you not watch for various issues.

F: Bad

Anime with glaring issues that make them not only difficult to watch, but the watcher angry at times.
