S: Must Watch
Episodes I believe you must watch or are missing out on.
1. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You Season 2. Ep. 1
I’m just going to let my bias be known for this one. I adore the manga, it’s just too much fun and the first season was so well done that it made me happy. With the return I expect a similar quality, and the first episode exceeds my expectations. We get some of the crazy days the Rentarou family goes through, time is just an suggestion in this world by the way, and also the introduction of a new gf Kurumi! She’s just as lovable with a great design and also has an intense quirk which means she’s a perfect fit for the family. I can’t wait for the other girls to show up, though it seems one is being kept under wraps. Also, we see some nice previews for some future gf’s as well. Now, some of you may ask which is girl is my favorite or who I believe to be number one and that is very simple. Best girl has always been, and will always be, none other than, yes that’s right, Rentarou himself.
1. Orb: On the Movements of the Earth. Ep. 16
An unexpected skip into the future, though I’m sure Jolenta is playing a part in what we see happening against the church. Very interesting new set of characters as well who I don’t want to spoil as I can’t reccomend this anime enough. Now, the journal that they stole is of great interest. I wonder if it is Oczy’s journal but at the very least it has heliocentric ideas within. If it wasn’t for the co number, I would say watch this, but I’ll say that and say watch 100 kanojo as well, one for jaw dropping writing, the other for a great time.
A: Very Good
Good episodes, anime I would recommend to someone looking for something to watch.
3. Sakamoto Days. Ep. 1-2
I’ve heard a lot of good things about this manga and the first two episodes exceeded expectations. Both episodes have stellar animations but what stands out is Sakamoto and Shin. Sakamoto is the greatest hitman to ever live and Shin is respectable in his own right, together the two are fun to watch and given the bounty of Sakamoto’s head we’re in for a journey as the they do all they can to protect their family. In all honesty though, it amazes me that anyone would go after Sakamoto, guy’s just too strong and likeable.
5. Shangri La Frontier. Ep. 14
Very interesting finish, though I did expect there to be more to Lycagon than what we were seeing. There is more to come after this fight with the beast, but that will have to wait. Overall, I enjoyed the fight. It was difficult for our crew but they did well to adapt and succeed in this fight. But! Sunraku does fail in not having more information leak though at this point I doubt he cares.
7. My Happy Marriage. Ep. 2
Hmmm, I’m not sure about this one. I love Miyo, but I simply don’t see how doing the maid work is of benefit here. Sure it shows her competence and strength to deal with adversity needed in this world, but there are other ways to do this as well. Standing up for herself would have warranted a recognition of strength as well, very torn but we’ll see where it goes.
9. Apothecary Diaries. Ep. 1
Before writing up on this episode, I will say I’m not as high on this anime as others are. For one, I enjoy the writing as there are very intersting arcs, great use of the setting, and great characters as well. Except… except mao mao. I’m sorry! I’m sorry! Mao Mao would be a fantastic character were it not for one simple reason reason, she’s just too good at everything. She’s better at investigating than most, a better doctor than the quack, knows every strange detail of random facts. If she were just an incredible… Apothecary, then I would love her just as much as everyone else but I can’t. Still, I enjoy the anime. The first episode is great and sets up the potential for the first arc well. We also meet a new character with an impressive dexterity, and a new Mao Mao to add to the group. Overall, look forward to this season, also shout to Yuuki Aoi who I think may be the most talented voice actress on the planet.
11. Blue Box. Ep. 16
I still believe in you Hina! They’re going to make Taiki play the prince right? Right?! Man, even if Chinatsu has moved away for the time being, it’s clear that the two are becoming close. I like their relationship, it’s endearing and I think it’s healthy. So, even though it breaks my heart to say this, it seems the ship has sailed ladies and gentleman. But not before Hina drop kicks Chinatsu! Do it Hina!
4.
Solo Leveling. Ep. 2
Yes give me more! Man, killing someone and making them one of your shadow soldiers in an instant is cold blooded, but it also conveys just how much Jing-Woo has changed. He has become very cold since changing, though I understand given his past experiences. Also, an inevitable showdown between a high level opponent is soon to come, very excited to see this.
6. Ishura. Ep. 2
Hear me out, is becoming her minion so bad? Linaris has an excellent design, and a voice that entrances. So! I’m just saying, it wouldn’t be the worst fate we’ve seen in this series so far. With her power, Linaris has managed to get herself into the games but I wonder why she wishes to. Anyhow, we have more characters to come and I’m sure I’ll enjoy all of them.
8. Dragon Ball Daima. Ep. 13
This is one of those episodes that most people will complain about but that I enjoy. I find great joy in watching the group on a strange adventure. It brings back the feel of Dragon Ball that many new fans never experienced by that I have dear memories about. combining that with the stellar animation and fights in the rest of the series, this is building up to be one of the most well rounded series in Dragon Ball.
10. Rurouni Kenshin. Ep. 14
Yes! The boy is back, I was just wondering where he ended up. Of course, Saitou doesn’t consider him a threat until Sanosuke shows off his new skills, who needs defense? Happy that Nenji will live as well as we have some difficult fights coming soon with Chou naming who will be an issue for our team. I wonder if we’ll get more or if the main trio will be at the head of this war. In all honesty, let’s get Yahiko in on the fun, why not?
B: Good/Solid
C: It’s ok/Fine
These are shows I happen to pick up but struggle to finish. Still watchable, but not without a good break in between episodes.
Beheneko: The Elf-Girl's Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! Ep. 3
Hear me out, I am a degenerate. Yes, this anime is basic, poorly written, and cliché, but! It’s an Ecchi. And though it is teetering on the light Ecchi, it’s just enough for me to accept it. In this episode we see Tama face off against his own fear off losing the connection with his lovely, and degenerate master. In order to save her life I believe he will have to do it however, as for how others will react to him we shall see in the coming episodes. But that doesn’t matter, we know why we’re here. Mmmm 9/10 just enough Ecchi.
D: Do Not Recommend
Shows I do not recommend you not watch for various issues.
F: Bad
Anime with glaring issues that make them not only difficult to watch, but the watcher angry at times.
Some words
