Episodes I believe you must watch or are missing out on.
1. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3. Ep.12
SUMMARY
There is so much to unpack here. Why Roxy is the main question, but it is all but confirmed now that the man god is evil, or using Rudy at the very least.
Future Rudy is from a future where many things go wrong. Losing Roxy was just the start, but to think he will lose Sylphie and other friends, it's a future of nothing but heartbreak and we get to see all the regret and anger that has built over the years. Now, the advice that future Rudy gives is interesting.
I'm saddened that there is a timeline where Rudy doesn't forgive Eris. It's the path we were heading down it seems, it's just the truth that she is bad with words and could never explain why she left all that time ago. Still, her love for Rudy never wavered in the future and while I never wanted Rudy to forgive without hesitation, I still wanted a future in which they are together. To think she died as well, I have no idea how future Rudeus remained sane after that.
Was Future Rudy able to get one last look at the woman he loved? I believe and hope so. Good on Rudy for giving him a proper burial, though how much of his advice will he follow? I would have gotten rid of the rat as well, but will fighting the Man God do be something he needs to do as well?
What a great yet heartbreaking episode. To think what awaited Rudeus was nothing but pain, and that it could still be a future he lives should he not be careful. From start to finish an episode that didn't leave a room until about 15 minutes in had me enthralled, that's why I love this anime so much.
Now, next episode may be even more heartbreaking as we read through Oldeus's diary, will my heart be able to survive?
Shout out Tomokazu Sugita, what a phenomenal performance.
10/10, brother, get that rat of that house!!!!
2. Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4. Ep.17
SUMMARY
Holy animation, holy power up for Julius. Also, the animation of Reid catching the blade may be up for some of the best I have ever seen, bravo.
Before raving more about the fight, Subaru has returned. Emilia's name has been taken by Gluttony so that will be a matter we must deal with soon, but Subaru doesn't seemed worried about it at all. He's quick to enact a plan and we see all the pieces falling into place this episode.
Subaru is dealing with Shaula, Ram with a piece of Gluttony, and Julius must deal with Reid. The battle is fantastic after Julius decides to form a new contract with the little spirits that follow him. This gives him a big power up, while giving us an incredible fight that I may put up there for one of the best of the year. A sudden return of Anastasia may be just the push he needed and though Reid considers such a loss boring, it is a much needed victory for the team.
With Julius victorius, we switch over to Emilia who reaches the top of the tower where we meet a surprising being.
9.5/10, very very good
3. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You Season 3. Ep.11
SUMMARY
I love Hahari so much.
With Rentaro being the best boyfriend to ever exist, he gives Hahari a date she has wanted. It's no surprsie coming from the boy, but his plan is perfect for her, and for us fans as we get to see Hahari in a school uniform. What a date, what a man, what a woman, what a reason to change the design on a teddy bear.
OH MY GOD, there is no way we're are getting two back to back 11/10 chapters. I need everyone to understand that any chapter involving Shizuka is top tier, but strap in for this one.
Shizuka's phone is out of comission. It makes commincaution a little harder, but not impossible. We follow her to Ai's home where they plan to study and hang out, though Ai can tell when something is bothering her beloved munchkin.
As it turns out, Shizuka's mother has taken her phone due to how she uses it to talk. Hearing and seeing Shizuka break down is too much for my heart, but I'm glad that she has people like Ai to help her, and a boyfirend like Rentaro that would move planets for her.
10/10, If I could be like someone it would be Rentaro
4. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity. Ep.8
SUMMARY
Heal faster is insanity given the injuries we see, but MVP Orihime is stamping her name as the best girl of the big three. GET UP ICHIGO!
Ichigo's wounds are much deeper than the blood wee see. The look in his eye, and his words, show a man unwilling to even try anymore. But Ichigo has always had an incredible group to support him, perhaps then most of any MC for Shonen. And, amongst all in Shonen, he's the most willing to fight for those he care for.
Over to Yawach, sike! I know what you're here for. Aizen is such a phenomenal character; from the voice to design, it's surreal how much of an impact he has on Bleach, and manga in general. Seeing him again is a joy, even Yawach smiles at the meeting.
It's Renji, Ichigo, and Aizen vs Yawach! As expected, Aizen is a thrill to watch. Using Hado 99 with ease should be near impossible, but his abilities prove worthy even against a literal god. Yet, even that is not enough to beat him.
Is the world over? Not of the people of each world are still breathing. The final fight is near.
9.5/10, He's so cool bro
A: Very Good
Good episodes, anime I would recommend to someone looking for something to watch.
5. Though I Am an Inept Villainess. Ep.10
SUMMARY
With more and more poeple figuring the truth behind the body swap we will soon see the fate between Reirin and Keigetsu decided. Before then we must save the emperess however.
Reirin's interesting personality has collected what they need to break the curse on the emperess, a rather terrifying cure for those who are screamish. Leelee is also here and let's her disdain for Keigetsu clear. She brings up breaking the swap curse, which is something that Keigetsu will do when the time is right.
Keigetsu begins her work on breaking the cusre but it is soon revealed that she meant to give her life in return for saving that emperess. Is this enough to exonerate her? I don't think so. It's where I find a flaw in Reirin's character as she is far to kind and forgiving, at least for someone as cynical as me. Yes, she has gotten to do many things she wanted to because of the swap, but Keigetsu's has tried to kill her many times over.
Before then, Shu makes her apperance. I never connected the dots between Shu being the lady manipulating Leelee. Even weakened she is able to get Reirin under a balde, though the weakened state allows Rerin to get the edge in the end.
9/10, one more episode
6. Daemons of the Shadow Realm. Ep.23
SUMMARY
Akio is able to scape after a large explosion destroys the infirmary. Word of this gets to everyone away from the house, the news angering everyone as Akio is missing and a danger to Asa.
With everything done at the battle site, Yuru falls to exhaustion and returns home with Dera. He's not the only one to return home however, pretty much eveyone not a Kagemori comes homes with Dera. Oshirasama is also here, whta's the wieght limit of the apartment floor? What's the limits on the pockets of the heads of the household?
After things calm down at the house, we return to Akio who continues his escape. He finds someone he considers his mother. This person isn't the only we meet, the group behind the attack is introduced as well.
8.9/10, get well Yuru!
B: Good/Solid
C: It's ok/ Fine
These are shows I happen to pick up but struggle to finish. Still watchable, but not without a good break in between episodes.
7. Skeleton Knight in Another World II. Ep.11
SUMMARY
It doesn't matter if my resistance is high, I'm letting Tsubome manipulate me.
As it turns out, Sasuke was captured trying to save others. Chiyome praises him, though I think he was taken down a little easy for how she does. Let's forget my critiques here and admire instead, the animation of the exchange between Sasuke and Chiyome was jaw dropping as I just didn't expect it from this anime.
Of course, that's about all we have in the budget, the rest is just dumb fun to watch as the team deals with undead. At least for the others that is, Chiyome struggles to accept that Sasuke is gone until he commits an unforgivable act. It's enough to push her past her own regrets and claim victory!
8/10, I don't like heartbreak
8. The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects. Ep.11
SUMMARY
Alna's brother is here! Is he as bad she makes out? Well, she's made a powerful bow for him so perhaps he isn't all bad.
Alna's brother rushes to her side to meet the man who has taken her away from home. Dias ha to be over six feet and benches four plates for warm up, I'd be surprised too. Despite his frightening disposition, he's likeable enough for even a protective brother to struggle to find a fault in.
It's time to bond and no better way to do it than killing some strange dragon like creatures. For most it's a difficult task to kill even one, Dias can rip them in half bare handed if wants. He's not the only one getting a kill in however, Alna's bow and arrow is powerful enough to pierce the skin of dragon. The duo are victorious, and Dias now has approval of a family member.
7/10, that's a gnarly wound.
D: Do Not Recommend
Shows I do not recommend you watch for various issues.
F: Bad
Anime with glaring issues that make them not only difficult to watch, but the watcher angry at times.
