1. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3. Ep.9
SUMMARY
Sylphie is such a sweetheart that she is even willing to help the one person she held hatred for. Three days have passed since Nanhoshi collapsed, the nature of her ailment one not seen for ages.
I have to say, raising your voice on someone with legend like Perugius is a choice, and a very careless one. He'll help, but only the minimum required of their relationship. As it is, even awake Nanahoshi has little hope to find the cure for her illness.
It's not the first time we've seen Nanahoshi break down, this time is just as if not worse as she has once again fallen into hopelessness. [va] does an incredible job conveying Nanahoshi's emotions here. It's such a heartbreaking bundle to evoke, fear, desperation, envy, and each is present with every word that Nanahoshi cries, even when directing her anger at Rudy.
Speaking of Rudy, he has a plan to help. The age of the disease makes it dificult to find anyhting written about it, so he'll go to somoene who was alive during it. Oh yea, we're visiting Kishirika.
To the demon continent we go. It's been a long time since we've been on the continent, we hit an old stomping ground for Rudy. Not only are we back in Rikarisu, but Nokopara is here as well. He doesn't recognize Rudy, but he's more than willing help for the right price.
Asking doesn't do much to find the old gremlin, but a familiar encounter leads to us finding the demon lord herself. Kishirika is here!
10/10, very strong episode.
2. Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4. Ep.14
SUMMARY
Shaula and Meili handle the beasts outside as the rest of the group go look for Ram and Emilia. Things go immediately bad however, Gluttony has taken Emilia's name.
Despite having her name taken, Emilia's puts up a great fight against Gluttony as reinforcements arrive. There is another arrival no one could have expected, Reid appears and takes gluttony down with ease. It's a multiple way brawl that somehow ends with Subura getting the worst of it from another surprise appearance! Yea, this is a good spot to reset.
What is this vision Subaru is getting? Whatever it may be, what's more interesting is that Emelia's name remains in this run. Subaru sending others off may have caused the changes, but the vision still remains the biggest mystery. It allows him to see everyone, but also causes him see Shaula in a beast that attacks them.
Mysteries stack, but we get one solved. Reid is the sin archbishop of gluttony!
9.5/10, that's a cool twist
3. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You Season 3. Ep.8
SUMMARY
It's grandma time! I will say I am surprised by her voice actress, I always thought she would sound like a little girl pretending to be old, but this voice just makes her ten times more adorable.
GrannySuri goes for a walk with Rentaro where she gives a quick look look into her storied past as a war vet. I love how we get glimpses of an older GrannySuri, though she's just far too adorable when trying to acclimate to technology of current day.
Unfortunately, GrannySuri has no intention of joining the Rentaro family. Rentaro must prove himself as a man first. Rentaro's idea of a bad boy does little to move Yaku his way, so he pulls a classic move from books of old. Or so we thought, he's too much of a gentleman for that, so Yaku will take the lead instead.
Welcome to the family Yaku! A wild group to say the least, though mix ups we get from Yaku's mind were awesome to see. In time she gets to know everyone, and they do well to learn her name! Somewhat.
9.5/10, I love this anime so much
4. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity. Ep.5
SUMMARY
Renji is too cool to only be given L after L man. On the other hand, Isshida is too uncool to be given so many victories. On the other other hand, Orihime is too beautiful. That's it, just stating facts here.
Speaking of Orihime, it's her time to shine. Has she always been this cool? Of all the woman of the big three, I think she is one that I have never had an issue with. Be it her design, her character, or her relationship with Ichigo, I've had no issues with her. But man, I can't remember her ever being this awesome, what a showing from her to protect her beloved. Even if she can't turn the battle alone, buying time is more than enough.
Rukia's arrival is great, and poetic. The soul reaper that awakned Ichigo and kicked off one the greatest arcs in all of anime. Their attacks on Yawach are awesome, yet not enough at the moment. it's Bankai time!
What a cool looking form man, Bleach is king of designs. In this form Ichigo overwhelms Yawach with power unlike any we have seen from him before. It's an awesome thing to see as he has grown to an all powerful warrior throughout the series. Still, it is not enough to secure victory.
Also, we must remember, this is Orihime's episode. Facing the defeat of her two partners, Orihime is the one to step forward in a last resort. In a glowing charge forward, Orihime use her powers at their peak to take Ywach, and herself, away.
9.9/10, Orihime the woman that you are
A: Very Good
Good episodes, anime I would recommend to someone looking for something to watch.
5. The Ghost in the Shell. Ep.8
SUMMARY
Run that scene back, you know which one.
Getting a look into the Puppet Master's creation and evolution was interesting. What's more interesting is that we may not be far from something like it. Artificial intelligence that grows over time, eventually even gaining what one would call a sense of self. It's a frightening idea and, in this episode, one that it's creators deem they are better without.
No hold up, run that scene back!
Work never ends for Kusanagi and co. Shouldn't her body sink? I'm sure a fully robotic body has to be a few times heavier than a human. Perhaps I'm overthinking it, just as she may or may not be. Her dive into Puppet Master remains on her mind, and it is possible that it is more than just a feeling of her sensing the presence of the Ai believed to be gone.
Kusanagi's strange actions as of late are overshadowed by an assassination plot on a foreign minister. This is also soon overshadowed, Aramaki gets some terrible news as images of his team in action circulate the news. Is this the end of section 9?
9/10, Pupper Master is still around?
6. Daemons of the Shadow Realm. Ep.20
SUMMARY
Asuma finally gets his chance to strike. Pervman returns as Asuma is questioning Shingo, but it is he that takes out those that could reveal information about him without a moment to waste. Asuma and Ivan go at it, the Kagemori's life saved only by the exhaustion of his opponent.
While Ivan gets away, another takes care of the mess of bodies he left behind. His friend is voiced by none other than my favorite voice actress, Uesaka Sumire. She's got the complete insanity hidden under sweetness voice down to perfection, I'm sure there will be more like these two wherever they come from.
Asa does get her reunion with Yuru after everything settles down. She's furious that Yuru has been hurt, but there are more important matters to take care of at the moment. It's time to reveal some more secrets of the village.
8.9/10, Sumire Uesaka is underused!!!!
7. Though I Am an Inept Villainess. Ep.7
SUMMARY
Reirin had some crazy lines this episode. Tousetsu is understandably distraught by her own mistakes, but if she wishes for atonement then she cannot take the easy way out. Straight fire from best girl.
Reiren has been enjoying life for the past seven days. Something Keigetsu can only dream of. The cruel reality begins to set in as she makes a discovery of a curse nearby. Given her knowledge of such things, she may use this to her advantage but for now we have a meeting with the court ladies.
My favorite thing about anime centered around life around an emperor with court ladies is always the trash talk. It's on a level that aspire to get to, though even a fan of drama likes kindness. Seeing the relationship between some of the court ladies, and how we got the empress was nice. It may not be what was expected during the earlier era, but the results are clear. Still, the the nature of the court is one in which they must never let their guard down.
8/10, not the empress!
B: Good/Solid
C: It's ok/ Fine
These are shows I happen to pick up but struggle to finish. Still watchable, but not without a good break in between episodes.
8. The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects. Ep.8
SUMMARY
Although Diane has gathered troops by force, it's won't be as easy to force them to fight on her command. Dias's name and friendships help him here, even mercenaries refuse to mess with him given his history and the mere idea of other s hearing what they have done to him.
Battle begins against just Diane's forces. Dias's team shows off incredible skill and grit to take victory as Daine flees and is captured by some mercenaries. Alna allows it to happen, can't blame her given all that has happened. And with that, a very short war has ended.
After the war, Dias reaps the spoils of war as Eldan gets some hefty rewards from the king. A tax break that will strengthen him by a lot, and a way to undermine prince Richard that could get in his way. Still, the biggest loss of all may the loss of the scepter of fire that now rests in Dias's hands.
7/10, go bald Dias!
9. Skeleton Knight in Another World II. Ep.8
SUMMARY
Dragon scales for armor on a boat is pretty cool; so long as it floats it's fine I guess. It's a boat worthy for the journey to the southern continent at least, especially with the beauty Tsubome tagging along.
Tsubome isn't the only cool girl tagging along, Chiyome has alwys been cool as well. Learning of her past is pretty heartbreaking, even more so when considering that she may be hunting someone that once saved her life and is like a brother to her.
Tsubome gives a great retelling of her history as they arrive to their first destination. A boat ride on a cool boat, and a fight with a Kraken, Arc can only celebrate by sharing the spoils of victory where they arrive. Always the great guy, always bringer of good times.
7/10, Squid is ok, don't @ me
D: Do Not Recommend
Shows I do not recommend you watch for various issues.
F: Bad
Anime with glaring issues that make them not only difficult to watch, but the watcher angry at times.
