June 19, 2026
Ranking for anime episodes released June 19, 2026 to June 25, 2026
I'll be some stuff I'm catching up on next week for the final week of the season!
S: Must Watch
Episodes I believe you must watch or are missing out on.
1. Nippon Sangoku: The Three Nations of the Crimson Sun. Ep.12
SUMMARY
Best anime of the season? There's a great argument for it though Re:Zero has been phenomenal as well. With that said, onto the final episode.
Yoshitsune arrives to give the withdrawal edict to Ryumon. Kaku's words is what pushes those with Ryumon to accept the withdrawal, both he and Ryumon will be joining the movement despite their condition. Yoshitsune is given his orders, and we're off to Sei.
By some cruel twist of fate, it is Taira's corruption that pushes Sei to chase Ryumon. Unware of Aoteru, they give chase right into the trap. A masterful execution for a genius plan, the forces of Sei are destated. Most die protecting Ohga, but she is captured and forced to give an order to withdrawal to her troops.
After paying respect to those lost in the war, we gather in Osaka for a conference between Yamato and Sei. For Aoteru, it is the start to a path of unified peace. The path that has been started will not be easy however, the assassination of Ohga as she leaves the conference creates immediate worry, and there is only one name that can be considered for such a plot.
The greatest enemy still lies within. Taira makes his move to take over Yamato completely. Framing Ryumon for the death of Ohga, many of Ryumon's people are arrested as they protest the arrest. Continuing on, he takes control from the empower, and gives Sei an ultimatum that leads to the start of another war.
Aoteru can no longer hold off, the battle against the rot within begins.
10/10, fantastic anime.
2. Witch Hat Atelier. Ep.13
SUMMARY
Final episode?!
Alaria's hat reaches Qifrey, as does a golem. Both groups are left in a desperate situation, but is the test takers in most danger as they face a brimmed cap. I commend each person in the group, yes even Agott, for their actions in the desperate situation, their calmness and quick thinking allows them an initial space though the brimmed cap still finds their targets.
Although the brimmed cap chases the test takers, their true target is Coco. The one we see plans to use Agott to lure Coco in, but it is Euini who suffers for saving Agott.
As beautiful as this anime has made magic seem many times over throughout the series run, the depiction of its horrors is just as well done. Euini has been transformed into a wolf like creature, I believe the only hope of changing him back would be a forbidden spell, something that may not be allowed or known.
The one who could know is a bad state himself. The damage Qifrey suffered has left him bloodied, and now surrounded by those once cursed by witches for eternity. Bloodied and battered, Qifrey seems more than willing to take on those that approach; for us, however, it will be some time before we can see the end of this arc.
9.5/10, give me season 2!
3. Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2. Ep.11
SUMMARY
A battle between two of the most powerful, this should be a treat.
As I said it would be, a treat is what we get. Learning a little of how Zeo is seen by the others is enough to see him as a threat, but the display of magic we get leaves the new generation at a loss for words. Elfaria has the first display of what makes her a magia vander, casting speed and projectiles set her apart, but Zeo has power to match.
Zeo's counter offensive is as jaw dropping as Elfaria's magic. Forcing any magia into a full on defensive should be no easy feat, but Zeo does so through nothing but might. His entire skillset is set for combat, leaving Elfaria in a disadvantageous state. Will she be able to make a comeback?
9.4/10, found out next time!
4. Daemons of the Shadow Realm. Ep.12
SUMMARY
So it was Asuma. Or, at least, he's a part of the group looking to capture the twins. We meet two new characters in this short meeting between Asuma and his uncle, though it is the last person that I am most interested in. They're sure to play a part in capturing the twins next, though this group is volatile enough to fall apart as they do so.
On the other end of things, Yuru and Dera are chasing leads. They find one on his grandmother, though that is one that may be too dangerous to follow at the moment. Instead, we'll be going for Dera's father.
Dera seeks info from a Shaman who delivers medicine and other goods to Higashi village. It's cool to meet another person like Dera who knows of the village, and this guy's round build gives him even more points. Despite his care for the village, it is he who leads another threat into the village.
8.9/10. Higashi village can't catch a break.
5. Classroom of the Elite 4th Season: Second Year, First Semester. Ep.16
SUMMARY
Time for a showdown. But the one between Ayanokouji and the chairman will have to wait.
It's Suzune and Ichika who have a battle of word and fist to start. Ichika proves to be more surprising than I though as she puts Suzune on the ground with ease, twice! Suzune isn't much of a fighter, it's Ibuki who steps in before Suzune can be knocked out. In a 2v1, even someone as impressive as Ichika is beaten, though it's even more impressive to see the injury she was fighting with.
On to Ayanokouji!
The fight choreography is crazy here. I dare say Ayanokouji could have won, but backup from a beautiful upperclassman is much appreciated. In a 1v1, Ayanokouji takes victory in the fight, and overall by having teachers arrive at the location of the battle.
And so, the island test has come to an end. We're all here for the final points, who has done it?! in first place, it's... Koenji! I really want to know just what this guy is, but more battles for Ayanokouij will take place before we can learn about the freak of nature.
9/10, pretty good season.
A: Very Good
Good episodes, anime I would recommend to someone looking for something to watch.
B: Good/Solid
6. Liar Game. Ep.12
SUMMARY
With the teams decided, we get a few rounds where the night team takes a major advantage. Nao and crew allow hundreds of millions to go by, but Shinichi will be the first to turn the tide. It's a breath of life for the team at a loss, but they haven't strongest the worst of the other side yet.
Nao is the first to notice something is off about the strongest of their enemies. Yokoya, a self proclaimed psychic and I, for one, believe him after he guesses peculiar numbers with ease. He nets another big lead from Nao and crew, even Shinichi has no plan.
Not all hope is lost however, another member of the night team has made a discovery that allows him to intercept the enemy's contraband with surprising accuracy. Just what is the discovery, and will it be enough to stop Yokoya?
8/10, comeback time
C: It's ok/ Fine
These are shows I happen to pick up but struggle to finish. Still watchable, but not without a good break in between episodes.
D: Do Not Recommend
Shows I do not recommend you watch for various issues.
F: Bad
Anime with glaring issues that make them not only difficult to watch, but the watcher angry at times.
7. Farming Life in Another World Season 2. Ep.12
SUMMARY
Alright so the last episode is based on assimilating the people in the castle and giving Hiraku a new title. That's all, let's talk about the future of this anime.
There is no way this gets another season, right? I know RAG just got another season announced, but that has the power of pretty girl merch that, while this anime has plenty of pretty girls, I doubt it has the sales RAG somehow manages to get.
The case is, this anime has pleased almost no one. In contrast it has made every fan of the source livid. The fact that there is no mention of Hiraku's other children, or other romances, is and will always be the greatest factor in this, and it is not something the current team behind the anime wants to include. Why? We will never know. With that said, as just a village building anime it is fine, but knowing what it is elsewhere makes it worse for me.
4/10, still better than slime though
8. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4. Ep.12
SUMMARY
A look into Milim's past is cool, more interesting than whatever the slime is up to. The dragon she faces in current day is one she once considered a close friend, forcing her to seal them way before they could cause more harm. Not a bad backstory, we could have ended the episode there and I would have been happy.
Sealing them is impossible apparently, so we know Rimiru or the bot in his head is going to think of BS to fix the situation. Now I knew slime was just going to bring him back, because of course he was, but making them an egg was not the way I saw it happening. And that is all. No real struggle, minimal damage done by the extremely powerful dragon.
2/10, Raphael has all the answers
