1. Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4. Ep.10
SUMMARY
Emilia's words to start were great. Old Subaru was irrational and had the worst multiple episode stint of any character I have ever seen, but her words would have calmed anyone down. Having such a sweetheart at your side would calm most, but the msytery of Meili's death takes precedence.
Yaaay, Yuki Aoi is here! What a voice, and one that gives us a look into someone who has a past with Meili. Diving into her past gives us a look into her upbringing, up to her final interactions with none other than, Subaru?
Mysteries continue to stack as Subaru's mental plummets. Being hunted by visions of Meili keep him paranoid throughout the episode. In the end, he'll try to get rid of Meili's body only to be found by another as he sneaks around the tower. Is there no other way? With the few options left to keep himself from experiencing another death, it seems murder will become a habit.
9.9/10, was that Subaru?
2. Nippon Sangoku: The Three Nations of the Crimson Sun. Ep.10
SUMMARY
It's time. With Ohga's authority regained, with Kaku and Ryomon out of commision, it falls to Aoteru to keep Yamato's chances of winning alive.
Meeting with the empeor is no simple matter. Worst of all, he must do so with Taira at the audience as well. Aoteru remembers well what occured between them, I only wonder if revenge ever comes to mind for him.
Taira takes control of the meeting before Aoeteru can say a word, laying blame on Ryumon for the success of Sei so far. He requests the revocation of Ryumon's position, and it would have happened were it not for Aoteru and his planning.
Despite being in a room full of enemies, Aoteru remains calm. The question of who should lead the reinforcements remains, though he has another idea. Instead of sending reinforcements to Fukui, Aoteru requests a withdrawal.
Will they accept this decision? It would ruin Sei's plan, but Aoteru still has to get past the enemies within.
9.5/10, good on Yoshitsune, giving up the girls is no easy thing
3. Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2. Ep.10
SUMMARY
Time for a blast into the past, we're diving into Will's memories!
We've always known Elfie and Will are close, today we're getting a direct look into their history. The ever selfish Elfie, and a Will who had forgotten his nature as they travel though a world animated in bright colors. I love the decision to make the colors as they are, allowing it convey the love Will has for the times with he enjoyed with his beloved, then returning to a hash pallet to match the realty to come.
A day Will had long forgotten. Facing off against a magical beast, little Elfie is left at a loss as the enemy can reflect magic. Will takes some brutal damage as he protects Elfie, though this is the day the sword awakens.
With memories now regained, it's time for the second bloom. Has Julius undergone an evolution as well? I hope so, but I am glad that Will has remembered a sweet memory.
9.4/10, great episode
4. Witch Hat Atelier. Ep.11
SUMMARY
I guess Agott's arc to come will be her losing her prejudice against outsiders, but I still won't like her. It's not just her prejudice, but her mean demeanor that makes near impossible to like. With that said, I must say that amongst all the greatness in this anime, Agott becomes an issue. Not only is she unlikable, but Coco being so nice to her is unrealistic. Considering all that Agott has said and done to Coco, I wish there was some tension here, it could be used to buiild an actual relationship in the future and make her inevitable arc worthwhile.
Enough with Agott, today we focus on another in the group, Richeh. Like Agott, Richeh has her own problems that make her refuse to read magic books. While Richeh is stubborn, she isn't cruel because of her issues. Instead, her focus is on using spells she creates, hoping to live the life of a witch she wants to, not one decided for her.
As much she wish otherwise, Richech will be taking the second test alongside Agott and another young witch, Euini. They must protect a small penguin like animal named Myrphons as they travel through a cave for migration, all while making sure not to be seen casting magic, or revealed as a human.
Good luck Reiche and Euni.
9.5/10, very happy not be focused only on Agott
5. Daemons of the Shadow Realm. Ep.10
SUMMARY
Yea I wouldn't dare go against Left with a look like that. It's time to see them fight!
The start of the fight has some great animation. Left and Right are at a slight disadvantage to start as their opponent's long limbs make it difficult to close the distance. Despite the difficulty they're facing, their toughness makes them just as difficult to beat.
Once Dera is able to get into his armory, the tides of battle change and force a new form from the limb daemons. In this new form, they attack Yuru who has a crazy plan to create an opening. I must say, there had to have been a better way, but Yuru seems to have little fear in this world.
Victory doesn't get them to the enemy daemon weilder, but we do learn a few details about Asuma. He's trailing Yuru, both with human and deamon. He must believe his idea of what should happen to the twins is right, will Yuru inform the Kagemori of this?
9.2/10, Yuru's insane.
6. Classroom of the Elite 4th Season: Second Year, First Semester. Ep.14
SUMMARY
Just what is Koenji?
Nagumo's lackeys notice of him as their biggest threat and take action to deter him from advancing anymore. Despite seeing his capabilities alone, the lackeys somehow beleive they stand a chance against him and spend the day chasing Koenji around the island.
After Koenji ragebaits the group, he changes plans to crushing their spirit. Beating a group of students alone, with little difficulty at all, will do just that.
As a single player in the test, Koenji is the most impressive at the moment. He isn't the only one going alone however, and the entire group of singles are now the targets of the first years as they look to save everyone in their year. Amongst them, Ayanokouji is the heaviest taraget, and one that is going to make their move at last.
9/10, will Koenji and Ayanokouji ever team up for the giggles?
A: Very Good
Good episodes, anime I would recommend to someone looking for something to watch.
B: Good/Solid
7. Liar Game. Ep.10
SUMMARY
I'll gladly be one of Nao's possessions. With her now in the lead, the other players scramble to get votes. 50 points are needed to advance, and with Nao having 80, she stands in a perfect position to control the game.
Shinichi's plan works wonders as those in last place are quick to buy from Nao. Once the first few bite, the rest must do what they can to survive. This, of course, creates a cycle of players using all their money to survive.
Once the vote comes, we finally get fists flying. I think they were late on this, but the game deciding vote has come. Who will lose?! In this case, it will be the only one who showed Nao some cadre. Miura, an honest man at the least, now saved by Nao's 200 million in this game. The others must still advance, but Nao's kindness gives them a fighting chance.
8/10, Nao is tooo good for you all
C: It's ok/ Fine
These are shows I happen to pick up but struggle to finish. Still watchable, but not without a good break in between episodes.
D: Do Not Recommend
Shows I do not recommend you watch for various issues.
8. Farming Life in Another World Season 2. Ep.10
SUMMARY
Another festival? I'm not opposed, I'd just like a little variety in the anime adaption with 3% loyalty to its source.
Now, this episode is a little unfair becasue it appeals to the gooner. Cute girls in bikinis are an easy draw, and the competiton fun if nothing else. Of course, even a gooner must acknowledge best girl, so congrats to Zabuton.
Onto the issues once more, I'm surprsied by how little we focus on the MC's family. How often do we see Alfred? How often do we see interaction with Lulucy for that matter. I quite enjoyed the scenes here, and beleive it should be focused on much more, though that would defeat the purpose of this anime.
Despite the cute scenes, I still despise how the anime handles the harem. Just don't mention it at all if you're going to avoid following the soruce. There are plenty of other things to focus on a village building anime, and since you're already not following the source, you may as well have just spawned men in long ago.
5/10, the Alfred stuff was nice
F: Bad
Anime with glaring issues that make them not only difficult to watch, but the watcher angry at times.
9. Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 5. Ep.10
SUMMARY
Here we go, Kazyua overthinking every single thing as if he has any ability to grab a girl's heart. Ruka is too good for him, but Chizuru is just as terrible yet attractive, so seeing them together would only make me think she pities him, or the guy is paying her. Which he is by the way.
Today we watch Kazuya struggle with a little boulder, unreal man. Of course, the guy somehow ends on top off Chizuru, an all too familiar situation that means little in tis anime since we both of those involved are about as bright as a dead bulb.
1/10, the apartment situation should have been the end of their relationship forever
10. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4. Ep.9
SUMMARY
Yea rimuru, how did you figure that out? Oh, raphael did it? So no struggle whatsoever again. Ok that's fine, surely they will be an antagonistic force capable of causing some actual damage to you. I mean, it's not like every one so far has failed miserably to the point where there was little to no damage to you or your people.
The revival of an ancient, powerful dragon has to do the trick, right? Surely Maribel will do better, right? I mean, she's gathered powerful allies, and is capable of controlling even more. Oh wait, you have a combat mode that will likely just win with little difficulty or consequence.
1/10, very cool! A battle of which we know the outcome of!
