1. Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4. Ep.3
SUMMARY
I used to hate that Subaru never learned to handle himself under pressure, but now I simple beleive that it's the insanity seeping through. Given that the group has been seperated, I'll say that his reaction is justified. Onto the search, after the sick OP that is.
Traversing through the underground dungeon isn't all fun and games. From the unknown distance, to a portion of the dungeon that drives Subaru, Rem, and Anastasia insane.
The deadend scene was incredible. From Rem and Subura fighting, to Anastasia begging to survive. The use of light was superb as well, conveying what is later revealed to the be the deterioation of their minds because of the miasma. I knew there was something wrong when Subura reverted to his unbearable four episode stint and I was begging for the guy to hit a quick reset for us.
If you thought that was the hardest challenge down in the dungeon, you'd be mistaken. Both routes have their horrors, though Subura and Ram are saved by, dare I say, best girl?
9.7/10 Well, me and Subura agree on something at least
2. Witch Hat Atelier. Ep.4
SUMMARY
We're off to the magic stationer's! Before that, hit it Eve!
There are a lot more witches than I thought there would be. As such, we're given a cool street of magical items that every fantasy piece should have. And, of course, a magic tool shop.
While the goal is to get a wand suited for Coco, we get some cool lore about the origin of the ink witches use. It's simple yet interesting lore keeping us entertained until Coco is off to find a wand suited for her. Or so we thought! A masked witch appears, and the scene of Coco finding them is done with great execution as they turn the entire scene balck and white, I love sutff like that!
The chase to find the masked witch leads the girls away from the town and into a labyrinth like location inhabited by a dragon. Although they make an initial escape, Tetia and Agott make their thoughts clear and blame Coco for the situation they find themselves in.
With any luck, the girls will find a way out or Qifrey will find them in time. Before that however, I have to make this clear, I don't like Agott. I've seen many characters like her before, for example in Wistoria season 1, heck even Yuno from Black Clover for an episode or two. I suspect she will change in time, but she is far too cruel at the omment. What she said about Coco's mistake was too much in my opinion, and something I wouldn't forgive even if they changed the way they treat Coco.
9.4/10, Keep your chin up, Coco
3. Nippon Sangoku: The Three Nations of the Crimson Sun. Ep.3
SUMMARY
Yoshitsune is the first to pass. I doubt his attack was serious, the plan was always the follow up which ends in great success. Will Aoteru follow suit? Absolutely not.
By all accounts, Aoteru's plan was just as if not more impressive. The test is to find those capable though not just in combat. Aoteru's wisdom is too great to waste, and we got a glimpse of how he becomes a genius strategist. For now, however, we get a three year time skip.
Aoteru's agricultural plan was succesful in increasing soldier count. This receives praise from the emperor when Ryumon reports it, but it is Denki Taira that is directing the flow of the meeting.
Another case brought up at the meeting is the nation of Sei. The lands of the nation are hit with terrible cold that leaves their nation at a crossorads. Rebellion has erupted, meaning it could be overtaken by Yamato or, as Ryumon fears, a new talent could take control of the nation. Ryumon fears the consequences of such war, even castrating himself aginast Taira who only laughs at him.
More complaints are brought up aginst Taira who is clearly abusing his position and power. Even in the face of the emperor, he abuses his power as he wishes. The bigest threat to Yamato is within the nation itself, how will Ryumon and his team deal with him?
9/10, Ryumon's fear is here, and she's hot!
4. Classroom of the Elite 4th Season: Second Year, First Semester. Ep.7
SUMMARY
Hosen's violence won't work on everyone. The gathering of the first year Kage ends with a powerful group forming. They aim to take first place on the island, but they'll have to get past the boy to do so. The question now is, is the white room student Yagami?
Perhaps? Yagami meeting with Ayanokouji could very well be to get more on the 20 million man; however, since he knows of Kushida's past I have to say that he is likely not the white room student, and that he is in great danger.
Yagami isn't the only one with a target on his back, Hosen isn't making any friends. The two students from 1-C approach Ayanokouji once more in hopes of getting help with expelling Hosen. Speaking of Hosen, he is already setting his sights on a new plan and a way to expell Ayanokouji. This is his most dangerous venture, even Ayanokouji must act in time.
9/10, treading on dangerous waters are we?
A: Very Good
Good episodes, anime I would recommend to someone looking for something to watch.
5. Daemons of the Shadow Realm. Ep.3
SUMMARY
Trust, you will react the the same way to Onigiri when you visit Japan for the fist time. Don't even get me started on the convenience stores and little restaurants, we're here for the anime!
Dera and Hana are getting engaged! Maybe that is, for now the focus is Yuru and his questions. It was around ten years ago that Yuru's parents fled with Asa. The question of why they left remains a mystery, something that even Dera is clueless on.
Now then, the conditions around Asa's and Yuru's birth has happened befopre. The twins of that era held great power that lead to war given the power held by the twins. Asa and Yuru should be no different, though the reveal about his mother being from the mainland could make all the difference.
I'm glad the Yuru has some sense. Dera and Hana are likely good people, but they'll have to earn Yuru's trust. I agree that they could be part of the deception, though only time will tell their intentions. For now, the mission is simple; capture Asa.
8.7/10, Onigiri.
6. Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2. Ep.2
SUMMARY
After the sacrifice of episode 1, will episode 2 makd up for it?
The attack on the tower continues, monsters from deep within the dungeon spread throughout town and attack anything in sight. We have mages here ready to defend of course, the strongest of which give a great display of skill. Yet, even they are not immune to careless mistakes.
Some of the monsters attacking are equipped with mage destroyer swords, making them immune to magic. Will is able to fight many off but it is the dwarves being summomed that gives true hope. All is part of the enemie's plan however, soon something strong enough to defeat even those in the tower appears.
This episode was great. The attack is difficult, with many casualties piling up as told by mages or as we see once or twice. Stakes, sacrifce, strife, and pain are just a few things that can make for a great episode, this one had it in droves. As Will is overpowered, he's self doubt leaves him helpless until a dear friend is there to save them at a great price.
8.5/10, it did.
A small side note, I would have gone higher but episode 1 still bothers me. If we had more time with Will and a certain someone last episode, this one would have hit incredibly. Still, not bad.
8. Digimon Beatbreak. Ep.27
SUMMARY
Ah yes, the Yandere arc. As classic as it can be, one of the most popular tropes to ever exist, and at times a situation I wish to find myself in.
The episode begins with Hitomi meeting Mummymon in disguise and being affected by a bow he gives them. The poor girl is always going through something whenever we see her, what does the team have aginast her? The bow eventually spreads to the entire Golden Dawn, leading to them obsess over their partner digimon even more than usual.
The Golden Dawn digimon discover the source of the issue in time and confront the ultimate level digimon Mummymon. Did he have a gattling gun this entire time?!
Mummymon's backstory was sad. I could never understand abandoning a pet, even thinking about it brings tears to my eyes. As such, Mummymon's obsession with love is understandable though it only makes it more heartbreaking to see them crying after watching the Golden Dawn together.
8.7/10, Bunk that girl
B: Good/Solid
7. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4. Ep.3
SUMMARY
Alright! ALRIGHT! I liked this episode, are you happy? I can't beleive i'm saying this about slime. Onto the epsiode!
This episode revolves around Rimiru and his crew of bandits taking matters into their own hands. Disguising themselves as random monsters, the group goes into a flash training arc to get their stats ready for those making serious headway in the dungeon.
Wathcing them struggle for a time was great, requesting weapons and armor for thier monster bodies was even better. The entire ordeal was loads of action and fun, substance that recent episodes are in desperate need off.
As fun as that was, the draw of the episode was another reincartion, Maribell. Born with the power to control others through their greed, she seeks to control everything as she did in her previous life. Such skill has allowed her to take control of many, with her next target being Rimiru. Will she be able to do it?
7/10, I sure hope so
9. Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon Season 3. Ep.4
SUMMARY
I'm not ignoring the fact that everyone want to **** this vending machine. Onto the episode!
After a succesful return from his capture, Boxxo is met with delighted reactions. Not all goes smooth, Lammis is a little suspicious of how close Boxxo and Pity are now, but they spent a lot of time togehter so she'll have to accept it for now. Boxxo hands out gifts to everyone to calm them, no gift will calm the dog mountain however.
The dog moutain just kind of happened and I got a chuckel out of it. It was so random that I wondered if this was the enemy at play, but no, the thing just woke up. Boxxo and the crew keep it back as the people of the stratum escape to safety. I'm glad everyone is ok, but this epsiode felt quite random.
7/10, they want to **** the box!
9. I Want to End this Love Game. Ep.2
SUMMARY
Reverse NTR?!
I'm glad Yukiya doesn't let the moment get to him. Even when pretty girls are giving him attention, the guy only has eyes for Miku. That's a green flag, him laughing at the noise Miku made when stepping away made him even better.
Let's keep with the green flags on both sides why don't we? Miku remembering a meal Yukiya made for her years ago, and Yukiya wanting to cook so he can spend more time with Miku... can these two just get together?
Often, lovers in competition are written with certain flaws that can be used as a reason for the two not being togehter. Toxic communication, irrational anger and jealousy, but these two lack that or any major red flag. They really just want to hear the magic words from the other, but they never push to the point of cruelty. It's all just sweet.
Just get together, I already supoprt you.
8/10, green flag
11. Liar Game. Ep.3
SUMMARY
Nao is too kind for her own good.
As I thought, Shinichi fooled Fujisawa by changing the time on the game card. A great plan, though one that required him to fool Nao as well for full effectiveness. With success, the duo end with 100 million yen!!! That's 50 mil each! Or it should have been, Nao gives the money to Fujisawa given his debt.
I hated this decision. Fujisawa wouldn't have given Nao money for the taxi ride home depsite fooling her. Shinichi giving his money away was more of a surprise, but it could have been the end of this game were it not for Nao's innocence. I'll let this one slide, the lawyer may have gotten me as well.
Advancing onto round two, there will be more of a game played this time around. Shinichi joins Nao's side, maybe her kindness has an effect on the guy. That and she's pretty, but we'll say it's the other fact for now.
7/10, gosh, Nao is too gullible for this world
C: It's ok/ Fine
These are shows I happen to pick up but struggle to finish. Still watchable, but not without a good break in between episodes.
12. Farming Life in Another World Season 2. Ep.3
SUMMARY
Wait a minute! You're not just going to push the issue from the ending of last episode aside are you? You are? Cowards.
Since we're ignoring the last episode for some reason, today we focus on winter days. Turns out the new villagers eat a lot less than anyone expected given their harsh conditions before arrivng at the village. It's uindersandable, but a lot of the food will go bad if they don't eat their fill. Who care about that however, let's make some Mochi and sushi!
Unfortunately, many of those in the village are adverse to raw fish, they're missing out. I'll go eat some suhi in thier stead tommorow! In the meantime, the village plans a new event for the village, with the main event being a martial arts competition. Will we get some strife? Some disputes? Maybe even, a disagreement?
6/10, don't get your hopes up
D: Do Not Recommend
Shows I do not recommend you watch for various issues.
F: Bad
Anime with glaring issues that make them not only difficult to watch, but the watcher angry at times.
13. Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 5. Ep.3
SUMMARY
I don't care what anyone says, all of this could have been avoided if Kazuya just manned up and stopped lying! Enough! You have to take the initial hit from lying and accept the consequences. This went too far three seasons ago and the guy just can't accept that Mizuhara is out of his league, looks wise. Personality wise they are a match made in heaven as a pair of imbeciles.
You know who else is out of his league? Ruka. And yet she is crazy for the guy. So why not date her? She's pretty, nice, and whenever someone points what's bad about her like her clinging to Kazuya or blackmailing the guy, I get just a little closer to losing it. KAZUYA HAS DONE THE SAME!!! HE WON'T LET MIZUHARA GO! HE BASICALLY HAS BLACK MAILED HER BECAUSE HE IS TOO ASHAMED OF HOW PATHETIC HE IS!
I'm glad Kazuya got rocked this episode, and that should have only been the first punch. Mami is doing this for the wrong reasons, but it's the right thing to do.
2/10, Kazuya get up and man up
