Episodes I believe you must watch or are missing out on.
1. Hell's Paradise Season 2. Ep.7
SUMMARY
We all knew Toma would join the other side, his ex partners couldn't care less which would have hurt me more. What I did not expect is for them to use this opportunity to double cross the Tensen, that was pretty cool. Of course, their surpise attack doesn't kill the enemy, we got our new match ups!
Good lord, the start of the fight was beautiful. How Mappa is doing both JJK and Hell's Paradise at the same time is beyond me but I'm happy for it. As I admire the beauty of this animation, the improvement of the bandit brothers is clear to see.
On the other side, Tamiya is busy admiring his oppononet. I don't blame, I'd do the same. Unfortunately, he is not Tao Fa's type and is sent into the wall for it. Tao Fa might be my favorite of the Tensen so far, her fighting style is great but it's her personality that makes her a joy to watch. The cherry on top, the perosnality switch made me fall in love, crazy girls are my favorite.
Tamiya and Fuchi continue in a losing battle, each doing what they can to help the other. Fuchi takes hit to help Tamiya learn but the guy just goes to the most extreme method, what a man!!!!
9.5/10, the animation in this episode was incredible from start to finish
2. [Oshi No Ko] Season 3. Ep.7
SUMMARY
Well, Kana got set up it seems. I still don't blame the girl, all she wants is to get back into acting, and I want her to succeed as well. As such, it hurts seeing her break down. Thanks Mem for holding her, you truly are one of the best girls.
With that said, it was nice to see some of the light return to Ruby. It may not be a permanent, but her desire to help a friend is nice to see as she hunts down a killer. Aqua also wishes to help, but I could never expect what he was going to use in order to kill the article on Kana.
Revealing Ai's greatest secret, and their identity may be the most surprising thing in this anime apart from the tragedy itself. I believed it would be a secret forever, but it was the only way to get Kana to safety. I love the montage afterwards, it spread like wildfire and has the entire country in a hold.
Now that Aqua has decided to do things his way, Akane wishes to do the same. Aqua saves her from a bad fall, and we get another huge reveal of how he keeps tabs on her. Ahhhhhhh I can't handle this. Akane's desire to help Aqua, to give Aqua a life better than the one he has chosen has led to the end of their relationship. In another world, Aqua and Akane live happily ever after, but in this one Aqua must protect those he cares about.
9.4/10, my ship has docked, thank you all for riding along
3. Sentenced to Be a Hero. Ep.8
SUMMARY
We're in full investigative mode now, but what I really want is more of Frenci. Xylo was dead on about his suspicions for who is after them, though the defeat the assassins experienced is not enough to deter them.
No opening at the start of this episode as we get a classic Mushoku Tensei like opening instead. Well, not really but it did remind of it. Anyway, poor Jayce is facing relationship troubles as Neely kicked him out of the stable for infidelity; he would have joined us on the next mission but Xylo has chosen Dotta for his skillset instead.
Speaking of this next mission, Kivia is joining us! She looks great in her outfit, and we even get a tsundere side from her this episode.
Before heading off, we get to see Dotta's trial. The more we learn of him the more I like him, I do wonder if he will be accomplish his personal mission in time. This flashback also alluded to corruption being far higher than we imagined, just what is waiting for us?
We're at the adventurer's guild to end the episode, Kivia's acting could win an award but the guild head is aware of them before they even arrive. We do get a nice show and a treat at the end. That's right! Frenci is here!
Frenci takes the duo to a private room to discuss the matter. She and Kivia are going to be best friends I believe, or at least I hope as Frenci is more skilled than I assumed. We get a nice battle between the trio and the assassins of the guild who are outclassed by the lovely couple +1.
9.3/10, no Teoritta this episode :(
A: Very Good
Good episodes, anime I would recommend to someone looking for something to watch.
4. Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game Part 1. Ep.8
SUMMARY
I've said this many times, I'll probably say it many more, I am not a big fan of JJK. I am, however, a complete fanboy of Mappa. I think what they are doing with Hell's paradise and JJk this season is incredible and both are must watches simply for the level of animation being shown.
This season of JJK has a vision that is being followed to perfection. It's like watching a film with how the aspect ratio is used and how scenes are created with lots of simple movements, the camera being placed at unique angles, and a big emphasis on the background conveying more of the scene or of the character. All of it is awesome and is far more enjoyable to watch for me as it feels like watching passion and vision being brought to life.
Much of this episode revolves around Higuruma and his time as a lawyer. He is eventually pushed over the edge and awakens his cursed technique, amassing 100 points and is now facing off against Yuji. Fushigoro doesn't have better luck, he's been led into a trap but wastes not time prepping for a fight.
9/10, the JJK fanboys are gonna hate this episode
5. Trigun Stargaze. Ep.7
SUMMARY
Didn't expect such grim conditions to start off the episode. Millions Knives is wrecking havoc around the planet by stealing the plants, all the while Vash is being tortured since he refuses to join his mortal enemy.
Down below the ship, Meryl and Millie continue their reporting of all that is going on before being picked up and taken back to the ship. There is some good news here, the ship is moving folks! That's all well, but the only hope remaining for the planet is still the immgrant ships that should be arrving within a month. The population of the planet gathers at one location, but but this makes it easier for Knives to intercept hope should it arrive.
Speaking of Knives, intercepting the immingarnt ship is just what he plans to do. For his plan, he gathers strength from the plants he collects, though from the looks of things this effectively kills them. I may be wrong, but I know a dead plant when I see one. I'm not sure how strong he is becoming, but the time to escape from the ship has come.
8.5/10, everyone is crazy
6. The Darwin Incident. Ep.8
SUMMARY
A counter offensive against the ALA's efforts is an interesting development. Considering their current tactics, I can see this becoming much more violent should it not be quelled in time, but doing so seems to be near impossible at the moment.
Back home, Lucy takes the offensive until Charlie has to step in against someone grabbing her. Before things can escalate, the FBI arrives and uses the power of aura to prevent any more fighting. Of course, they're not here to be friends with Charlie, efforts are focused on taking down the ALA.
Despite their innocence, Charlie's family is facing more and more abuse from the town itself. This treatment will continue as many connect Charlie to the tragedy; should they remain home? Leaving is far from simple, and none of this is their fault, but protecting Charlie is the families main concern. Of course, there is no guarantee it would be any safer elsewhere.
I loved the conversation between Phil and Bert, clashing ideologies but neither gets angry or insults the other despite their different views of the world and life. That is probably the most unrealistic thing this anime has done so far, but it was a great watch and conveyed both concern and conviction. Very well done.
8.5/10, maybe it is ok to keep faith
7. The Holy Grail of Eris. Ep.8
SUMMARY
We're diving into the recollections of Lily and get to see a young Scarlett as well, she's just adorable but was a brat even when young. That may be because she was born to be part of the life, a genius of the lifestyle itself.
Lily tells of her upbringing alongside Scarlett and Enrique, we even see the downfall of Scarlett from his point of view. She asks a lot of good questions here; why is the king involving himself and where is Scarlett's family? Years after Scarlett's death, Lily discovers the plot Cecelia is a part of. Delving further into this will lead to her death, though not before she leaves the children with a way to keep themselves safe, and information for others to discover in the future.
I never expected the holy grail of Eris to be a plan to invade the kingdom itself. More information reveals that Faris has been preparing for war as well, though not everyone from the land is in support of this plan. As we see in the end, two representatives are here to ask for help in preventing the war that was stopped ten years ago by none other than Scarlett and her execution.
8.4/10, betrayal by her own father has to hurt
B: Good/Solid
C: It's ok/ Fine
These are shows I happen to pick up but struggle to finish. Still watchable, but not without a good break in between episodes.
D: Do Not Recommend
Shows I do not recommend you watch for various issues.
F: Bad
Anime with glaring issues that make them not only difficult to watch, but the watcher angry at times.
