Gachiakuta

1. Gachiakuta. Ep.22

Action Fantasy

SUMMARY

We're hopping right back into the fight against Noerde who unleashes everything to keep the cleaners at bay. This power has it's limits of course, her hair can only withstand so much and Rudo isn't giving in without dying first.

The cleanres have some luck on thier side as a huge hole opens in the trash best due to Rudo's previous attack. This stops Noerde's attack as she lets herself be dragged out out of the beast and into the border where we get some I never expected. There, waiting at the border, is a giant creature that, in her words, takes everything that is precious away from her in an instant.

Back to the cleaners, we see Guita unaffected by the wind dragging everyone out. With some permission from bro, Guita hops into action with her vital instrument that lets her transform into a giant dinosaur like creature! I thought she would take out the core but instead plugs the hole, good enough! The clearns take cation without delay and desotry the core before jummping out of the trash beast on Guita's, hopefully plushy, body.

The epsiode ends with Rudo recovering Amo's boots but we have no clue as to her whereabouts for the time being. I hope we'll see her again soon as this arc comes to an end with some new mysteries to look forward to, passing the border will not be as easy as we'd like.

9.2/10, did Noerde die?

SUMMARY

Ww're back, and Fushi is asking some hard hitting questions right from the start. Before he can get some answers he is clobbered for being a playboy, but Mizuha defends her love with a quick slap before leaving.

Before discussing more, it's interesting that the Nokkers may only be taking over bodies of those that wish to die. We've seen this before with the stranger who jumped from a bridge and survived, to Mimori and others within the school. Their plan could continue to be this, and it is somewhat peaceful, but I doubt they will remain as such if they were behind the attack on Rikuya.

Speaking of Rikuya, that was a gruesome way to wake up. The school hears about it as Fushi continues to look for answers regarding the Nokkers. He spies on Funa which leads him to to another gruesome scene with Mizuha stabbing Fuya and confirming her insanity for the audience. She was elated to do this but hides it from Fushi who cannot fiegn ignorance forever; the signs are there despite his resistance to them.

Funa is still alive of course, congratulating Mizuha, or the Nokker within her. The Nokker within her is the original Nokker that has haunted us since the days of guardians. Turns out Mizuha is only somewhat behind her murders, with the Nokker inside her body being what is taking over and getting their hands dirty.

One thing about this season that I enjoy is Fushi's dilemma about telling the others what is going on. It's difficult as I believe there is no right decision. To begin, the help from others has always been how he has succeeded, but keeping it a secret let's them live in peace. I have no idea which is the right decision, so I am glad the universe brought him and Tonari together. I do wish he would rely on Tonari, but we have Bon to save the day as usual.

I agree with Bon's perspective. It is not their decision what to do with one's life, even when they are considering suicide. And that was all the confirmation Fushi needed, we're heading in hot next episode.

9/10, TONARI END GAME, TONARI END GAME, TONARI END GAME

Ranma 1/2 Season 2

3. Ranma 1/2 Season 2. Ep.10

Action Comedy Romance Ecchi

SUMMARY

Akane's getting scouted for a role she has no interest in at the moment, that is until she hear that it is for Juliet. The role for Juliet is filled, but there is hot competition for the role of Romeo as Akane has many fans looking forward to sharing the stage with her.

We learn that this role has a lot more meaning to Akane then we thought, and Ranma doesn't miss the chance to make fun of her for it. The role for Romeo is still up for grabs, and Ranma is drawn in by the chance to win a trip to China.

With the hot competition for the role, we end up with the four Romeos in the end. They even compete on stage before Ranma gets a leg up on everyone. As skilled a fighter Ranma is, his acting leaves something to be desired. The efforts of the parents don't do much either, but I must say I'm loving this rendition of the play.

Man, the action scenes this episode were crisp! Mappa just has a talent with action and I'm glad Ranma 1/2 gets this treatment. After Ranma is taken out of commition, Akane tags in but is saved by Ranma before having a kiss stolen. As the play continues to unravel in the most chaotic ways, Akane is sent to a deep sleep with the only way to bring her back being a kiss!

Will Ranma do it?! Will he do it?!

Ladies and gentlemen! I'm elated to say, it has happened. Sort of.

9.5/10, you have no idea how wide of a smile I have after this episode, or so I would have liked to say. But, I'll take what we got.

Dusk Beyond the End of the World

4. Dusk Beyond the End of the World. Ep.11

Romance Sci-Fi

SUMMARY

Alright, before watching I want to say that I am very worried about the time skip. But, I'll hope for the best.

We start off the episode with Yugure trying to reach Akira while he is in sleep mode. Hakubo arrives to help here; she has the best design of all the girls, but best girl is Amoru who takes care of both Yugure and Akira as they are in sleep mode.

We get a montage of time passing and Amoru caring for them, I can't be the only that teared up here. Amoru is such a gem. Time passes with Amoru continuing to paint and grow up right before our eyes, she's a beauty.

The day finally arrives at the end of the montage, Amoru runs back home to find Yugure awake and we have a short reunion before Akira returns as well. Thank you Hakubo once again for reminding them of Amoru, I'm glad she gets thanks for taking care of them for SEVEN YEARS!

Now then, I'm glad the two are back and well, but what is stopping Akira from dating Amoru as well? Times have changed, you're not even human, I don't think it would be weird, it would be cruel not to in fact. Of course, I don't believe she must be given love for what she has done, but I'm confused of the hesitance here given the time they have together.

No time for that however, O.G Akira is still alive! Just kidding! Amoru is what matters here. She's stuck looking at her beloved duo growing farther from her as they interact with emotion that wasn't there before. it's incredible how the animators have managed to create a difference in how Akira and Yugure look at each other now, their love is almost physical.

Watching them only hurts Amoru however, the idea that she may not be part of this love sinks in and we see her deteriorate mentally. Because of her desire to be part of their love she is eventually swayed by the opportunity to be like them.

Moving forward, we are heading to Akira's home where we see the one and only, Oboro. As this is happening, Amoru is going through the process of becoming an android with help from Yukurata. While I believe that someone isn't owed love, I can understand Amoru's frustration. Still, it breaks my heart to see where this is going.

The reveal of Igmar being Yukurata was ok, though the real shock is that Towasa can't catch a break even after hundreds of years. Igmar's existence could mean that there is a way for people to extend their lives, if they are still human that is.

Before we get to meet Akira, Amoru arrives to intercept the two. I~~~~~~~, am torn. I don't think we need to use Amoru like this, Yoiyami already had her own reasons to hunt them down and could have been manipulated herself. I have a feeling that this will end badly, but Yugure and Akira share fault for being so inconsiderate. Can we do more for Amoru? Please? She's been with you and took care of you! It's fine if they don't want to elshea, but there needed to be better communication here.

8.5/10, love hurts

SUMMARY

We're back on the mission to get Chiropmon back!

Kyo takes the lead for this offense, breaking into the egg himself and finding the meeting to sell the captured digimon. He arrives just in time but the others won't be outdone and show up in a fantastic way as well. Makoto also shows up but he's up against someone twice his size who also happens to be the worst father of the year.

I feel terrible for Haruko, nut calling Shademon mean names was also uncalled for. The built up trauma overwhelms Haruko and she asks Shademon to take her over, leading to a rampage from a fusion between human and digimon. A Hugimon! I'll show myself out.

Shademon had complete advantage in this battle as he took over most of the team, fortunately, talk no jutsu is a multiversal threat. Chiropmon reacts to Makoto's words, regaining control of himself and we get a digivolution! Chiopmon digivolves to! NightChiropmon, what a cool design!

While this new evolution was cool, it's Shademon that steals the show in the end as he stops himself and asks for the others to save Haruko. This ends with Haruko accepting Shademon which was sweet in itself, but the best scene was Yamada getting nothing but a whooping!

8.5/10, I hope NightChiropmon is in time strangers

Comedy Romance Sci-Fi

SUMMARY

It's fall time and Alma has short circuited! You know, this is my second android anime this season, I hope they both end well but the other has me on the ropes.

Suzume's body has become a static electricity machine and Alma's self defense mechanisms force her to stay away from her for the time being. Toki arrives to help with this, offering exercise as a solution that I am all behind. Working out does wonders! In this case however, it wasn't enough to rob Suzume of her electricity powers.

No, what we need for this is the power love. After a prolonged embrace between our two lovebirds, Suzume is finally able to hold her precious daughter once more, good for her. Although, I doubt even she expected her daughter to become an Idol!

Alma leads the group here and already knows what gets views nowadays, but none of that for daughter of the season. Alma, Machina, and Neon continue to improve over time until they hold a concert in celebration of their success.

Of course, if there is any truth to stardom, it is that it is fleeting. Great performance everyone!

8.7/10, I love when anime go hard on performances like the concert

SUMMARY

Naoto gets some extra points for being so in love with Satsuki.

Before seeing more of the lovebirds, Naoto's class is having a celebration after exams at a karaoke spot where Satsuki happens to work. Tokui and Satsuki have a moment but what matters here is the bump into Ishihara. This is the real closure we need, and Ishihara doesn't hold back. Her being mad at Satsuki is fine, she is her only rival, but a lot of the things that have gone wrong are Ishihara's fault.

We return to Naoto's side where I'd like to bring up that we really didn't hit the relationship with Suzu maturing well enough. The two not being completely reliant on one another just sort of happened as Naoto started having girl issues. It's a bit disappointing as it could have been a great arc, though I could just not remember it. Still, we're sprinting through things as we also see Ishihara at an audition by chance.

Moving past my grievances with the high jumps through chapters, Satsuki and Naoto end up together at the back of his school where confesses his love and desire to be with her! Excellent confession, right to the point and sincere, and we get a kiss! I actually smiled here!

While there are some issues with the writing at times, I can say that I have supported these two for some time as they just make sense for one another, so seeing them kiss felt like a reward and I am happy it happened. We're on the ship officially now which also means we're in the final stretch of this series. We're starting this off in the worst way possible; by not seeing each other often. Naoto is going to focus on work for now and Satsuki is understanding enough to accept this as she will be focusing on college for the time being.

Three month time skip to follow the sweet scenes between our new couple. Ishihara is becoming popular with the general public and Tokui has a scholarship prepped for college. Good for them, but what matters here is that Naoto is going to be living with Satskui for summer break! Calm down you love birds, you're both still young!

I was awondering where we were going after this, but this could be a nice arc to end on. I approve!

SUMMARY

Recent events have shown me that I'm not hating to my full potential, as such, I must confess my hate for Aroma! Unwilling to give Koyo a chance, unwilling to thank others, I'm just saying she's nowhere near my final pick, Miyuki.

Well, at least she has been following Koyo's advice which has helped her body not build stress. Koyo breaks out his secret weapon for this massage. The incense combined with Koyo's skills leave Aroma in another dimension, but I'm still not forgiving her for the past transgressions against the boy Koyo.

Aroma disappears after the massage which leads Koyo on a wild goose chase where he learns about her skills and where she might be from her teammates. We also learn that she was picked as a starter and this may be what lead her to escape from her room. Koyo finds her at a public court having a classic music video moment, though we'll have to wait until next week for our resolution.

SUMMARY

I really want to cheat and check if there is any development with the others girls because I don't expect it and would love to rant about it, but I'll hold myself back for now. I feel terrible for Nefritis as she does want more from the ring buffon but he doesn't give a single care about any of them.

In this episode we're preparing for the final battle and end up in Messa for a quick resupply. Marse decides that he will join them in this venture despite expecting a child. There is push against this decision, but he actually cares about his woman so I respect his decision to go. Asking Satou what he thinks about this makes no sense to me as he doesn't care for anyone but himself and Krystal.

After leaving Messa we get a quick look at the abyss king which is likely be the old ring king. The real dog will be back in town and I hope he suplexes Satou off a mountain. We learn that the empire's army will be used as a decoy as the main group sneaks inside to fight the abyss kings. Can we send the other girls with them? At least that way they don't have to face the abyss king with absolutely no chance of being protected by Satou.

No luck today, Satou leaves with his group as the empire marches forward. Amber leads the group through the tunnels and we end up in a deserted town that once housed the dwarves. Here, Amber reads a words left behind by the dwrves and what led to their extinction. Furthermore, a statue reveals of Amber's birth in the area, and of the truth behind the demise of dwarves.

This breaks my heart as the dwarves left Amber as proof that they existed and as a way to save their kind. BUT GUESS WHAT! THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! BECAUSE SATOU DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ANYONE BUT HIMSELF, BECAUSE HE'LL NEVER HELP WITH THIS QUEST! AND NOW THE AUTHOR HAS CHICKENDED OUT BY SAYING THERE ARE STILL DWARVES ALIVE. OK THEN, JUST LET THE OTHER GIRLS GO HOME WE DON'T NEED THEM ANYMORE.

SUMMARY

Alright, phoenix man is back, are we giving child empire some justice this episode? No, not at all actually. This episode felt like there were a lot of scenes missing throughout, sometimes we just jump to a whole other frame and wonder how in the world we got there, it's jarring.

Awful direction aside, mecha emperor doesn't get any animation to write home about. We've had some great gundam in recent years, we should have outsourced at least those scenes. The initial phoenix mode change was just as bad as everything else, give us a scene of him transforming, I'll even take a gradient change, but no he just changes a few scenes later.

Despite the awful animation, we can ascertain, by filling in most of the episode in our imagination, that emperor is pretty strong. Unfortunately for him, Flash isn't with his transmitter and phoenix man keeps getting stronger; this isn't enough for Empeoror to give up however, he puts up a great fight and gets the win by tearing off the phoneix costume.
