1. To Your Eternity Season 3. Ep.7
SUMMARY
Hirotoshi isn't going to beat the allegations.
Today we meet Mimori who seems like a sweetheart and Hirotoshi who cares for her enough to notice how she never smiles. The two become family as their parents marry, but the sudden change in home and family was difficult to deal with as Mimori struggles to express herself at home and likely in school as well. Hirotoshi's efforts were pure as he tries to help her adjust, but it was unfortunately not enough.
The change in Mimori after she is taken over by Nokkers is jarring. Like Mitsuha's mother, the Nokkers are taking an energetic and lively personality for those they possess, but it does make it so people like Hirotoshi can tell the difference.
Back to Fushi and Mizuha. YES! The visuals of Hayase were perfection! And just as I'm enthralled by this, my heart is wrenched out by the scene with Perona, you can't just do that man.
Fushi is just like me when it comes to school. Speaking of school, we got a battle on the roof of it! While the Nokkers have chosen a more peaceful method in their take over, the grudge with Fushi runs deep as Mimori begins the fight. Fushi wins with ease but Yuki almost gets the whole team killed with his modern desire of peace.
I've heard that many didn't like this arc, but I'm enjoying it so far. The Nokkers changing their game plan, the black one calling it quits, Mizuha, Fushi wanting his people to live a nice life before passing. There is so much here that is building and I am looking forward to it.
9.5/10, Fushi styling on his oppenents
2. Gachiakuta. Ep.19
SUMMARY
Zodyl managed to create trash beast by accident in his search for a way to create new entries in the watchmen series. It's here that he reveals his plan to fly to the world above on a trash beast he is creating at the moment.
Before seeing any more of that, we get a flashback baby! Have we been told what is wrong with Rudo's arms and hands? We get to see them without the gloves here and it's terrible to see as it is clear that it hurts him. We also get to see more of Regto and how he cared for Rudo. Although short, we do see him looking at a book that shares the symbol on items of the watchmen series, I wonder how they are connected.
Regto seemed hesitant, even worried about giving the gloves to Rudo, but we don't get much more of this before returning to Godyl's ritual center. Here, Godyl delves into the power of the items from the series itself, and how they inflict madness into the users. Rudo explains that he hasn't gone mad, I'd counter that he is just not in the most violet and brazen way.
Zodyl explains that they're going got take off on the trash beast, but I was too busy being mesmerized by the OST going on at the moment. Good lord those vocals. We're brought back by Guita who is excited to be inside a trash beast, though Enjin has a more understandable reaction to this information.
Dear may be one of favorite characters in this series, it's just peak a character design and his mean mugs never fail to make me laugh. I like he gets into gear just as the rest of the cleaners do after they realize that they are inside a trash beast, they aren't the best in dealing with other humans, but trash beast is another deal all together.
9/10, Dear and Bro might be the best charcatres and the show
3. Ranma 1/2 Season 2. Ep.7
SUMMARY
There's no end to Shampoo's treachery. But it seems our lovely dad duo may be even more treacherous as they concot a plan to bring Ranma and Akane closer. They had a plan to do it themselves but were faced with a surprise challenger who will return later.
In the midst of this, we learn that Shampoo has created a mixture to turn Ranma back into a full boy no matter the temperature of the water involved. She's willing to trade for a date on the day of the dojo challenge, the guy is so excited he even got flowers for the occasion.
Shampoo outwits Ranma which forces him to go on a bike date. She reveals that the dojo challenger is too strong for Akane alone which makes Ranma anxious but he's dead set on getting the mixture first.
Akane vs the dojo challenger had some great animation but the poor girl's right hand is still injured. Even with the injury, she does her best in the fight until the challenger uses the dojo sign to get the edge. What a low trick!
Ranma arrives just in time to save Akane from a sign to the head. He makes quick work of the guy who gets some help from Shampoo but this creates some funny chaos because of it. With Akane holding the package in her hand, Ranma is trying his best ot convince everyone that he hasn't kissed Shampoo, all while Shampooo sings her heart out about the topic.
Ranma's a pretty good liar, but nowhere near as good as Shampoo. Turns out the package to return him back into a man only works temporarily and he's back to square one. Will Ranma ever cure his body, is it worth losing girl Ranma for our eyes?!
I think Ranma may struggle to live that long, 8.6/10!
A: Very Good
Good episodes, anime I would recommend to someone looking for something to watch.
4. Digimon Beatbreak. Ep.7
SUMMARY
On today's episode, Tomoro can't cook. With Kyo out for a few days it fell to him to make breakfast but he almost blew the kitchen up in the process.
Seems like a bad economy is inescapable even in anime as the group struggles to find an available cleaner job. We learn of a group known as the five stars wo are at the top of the cleaner pyramid, and who sent a message by clearing every job that was available.
After forcing a job out of a poor old man the group finds some semi frozen people in the middle of the road. Geckomon uses his sniffer to chase the scent of... a poyomon? Nevermind that, the culprit at hand is Blackgaogaomon. Man does Gaogaomon bring back memories from Data squad. This design is killer as well, but it hurts to see Blackgaogaomon begging for them to run away.
Tomoro is saved by Kyo who lets the rampaging digimon run away much to my surprise. The surprises only keep coming as we learn of the reason Kyo left for a few days. Turns out, Kyo is sheltering the digimon they have defeated to avoid them being deleted by the ministry, but at the great cost of his own e-pulse.
Blackgaogaomon returns later to attack the shelter as he's still starving for e-Pulse. It's here we learn of his sad past of not wanting to harm others and being abandoned because of it. Bunk his previous owners, and anyone who abandons their animals, there are fewer acts crueler than that.
I liked the ending with Kyo saving Blackgaogaomon, but I do think it should have been Tomoro who helped him. I need to see some more growth from the guy who, while he questions many of his actions and what he wants to do, he is in need of a big moment similar to that he has at the end with Kyo.
8.2/10. data squad for life
5. Dusk Beyond the End of the World. Ep.8
SUMMARY
As I thought, Akira chose Amoru's book. Good on him; I have some issues with him, but I can never deny that's he a good guy.
I love that Amoru's book has more meaning than I thought it would. Believing it was just a a children's book was naive. Instead, it tells a story of people with special blood that held mysterious powers, and how it came to affect the world. As Akira said, it's similar to Towasa's plan and could be a hint as to what happened.
The team manages to escape from OWL's guards by train where they meet an interesting family. Vare, the dad, is a guard for OWL who may be on the case involving our main group. He seems like a great family man and nice guy so it is going to hurt if we have to face off against him in the future.
Even the best of us can mistakes however, our new boy Vare cheated! The girls are brutal on him because of this, and Vare only makes worse for himself as he speaks. I'm no fan of cheating myself, it's hard to say she should accept his apology. Still, we can see how Vare regrets things, and how much he cares for Casta, so I'll give him this chance.
Before we get to see Vare recreate the proposal, we get the return of the two outside series! Hakubo has the sweetest personality of the bunch it seems. She reveals something very important, the outside series may see themselves as a family. Another reveal is that they also don't know the whereabouts or status of Towasa, I hope we learn more during this truce.
A quick side note, it's nice to see people like Casta still alive in this new era of relationships. There is nothing wrong with wanting to love and be loved by only one person. Vare's infidelity must have shattered her heart, but it seems she now believes that she could lose her family if she attempts to push for that desire. Why Vare?!
8.5/10, alright, Oboro best boy
6. Spy X Family Season 3. Ep.7
SUMMARY
We return to the Red Circus taking over Anya's bus and poor Anya getting dizzy from all the voices hitting her at once. As I thought, the lives of the children inside are valuable pieces for the Red Circus to use in negotiating with the government.
Anya being on the bus is something the Red Circus could never predict or prepare for. Not only does she have a way to discover their plan, but this also brings the attention of WISE. For now, the kids are using their wits to help their rescuers find them. It's a great plan, but Anya is strapped with a bomb because of it.
Becky being captured was also a worst case scenario because she is filthy rich and parents own a weapons company of all things. Her plan with Anya works to get information to others and they nearly get a street carpet bombed because of it.
Billy had a good plan, but man I doubt he ever expected the kind of kids he would meet on this bus. We get a good scene from Damien here; he musters his courage to try and get the bomb off Anya, but I like that we see him have reasonable fear after realizing the position he is in.
I like Billy commenting on the state security. We haven't explored too much of the group, but we do know they are a corrupt group, and he factors this into his plan.
The state security arriving was one of the best scenes of the episode despite how short it is. They pose a great juxtaposition with the police officers who look to protect the people while the other side focuses on the country itself. Is the sacrifice of the children worth the entire country? Is it heartless to do so? Is it evil?
8.5/10, we're psoing some questions here that I like, not bad
7. Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family!. Ep.7
SUMMARY
Ah yes, time for my weekly sugar overdose.
Toki's back! Her drawing skills overload Alma's brain before the group heads out to a bath house in the next scene. Hana, Neon, Makina, and Tokoyo are here enjoying themselves as well and we have spicy discussions about Enji and Suzume.
We're not here for the spiciness however, Alma joins Enji outside where she explains that he has increased levels of stress as of late. To counter this, she installed some massage modules and gives Enji an electrifying one using her shock powers. It was a painful time, but Enji feels better after it.
Moving forwad, it's visitation day at school and Alma is excited that her parents are coming. Suzume and Enji get dressed up for the occasion but it's Alma who makes the most surprising appearance as a the new teacher herself. I firmly believe education is flawed, and while I'm not sure if Alma's solution is the best, I would love to be in a school that transforms.
With that being said, Alma runs into problems as the day continues. Enji and Suzume are there to save the day, but, more importantly, they are they to be good parents. They help Alma and encourage her before going out to eat. These three are my favorite family of the season.
8.3/10, Makina got lit up
8. Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Season 2. Ep.7
SUMMARY
Mukoda found a bag full of gems and didn't even realize it. Given the amount, Mukoda has make a trade with the merchant guild with some help from Ugol.
Before that we get to see the crew eat something that isn't Mukoda's cooking, when is the last time that happened? The meal gives Mukoda some inspiration for the future of his cooking before we're tossed into the merchant guild for the trade.
As expected, the merchants make an attempt to low ball Mukoda but he is saved by Ugol who gets him better value. That's not the only gold Mukoda receives however, his return top the adventurer's guild ends with him receiving a golden A-rank card. Good for the guy, even if he only accepted because of a push from Fel.
A slow episode today but one that ends with a very sweet note as Mukoda gifts Ugol sweets for all his help. I doubt we'll ever see Mukoda become a powerful fighter, but if he keeps being a great guy then I have no real complaints as we know we'll get the eye candy of the century in this anime because of him.
8/10, send the gods their gifts!
B: Good/Solid
C: It's ok/ Fine
These are shows I happen to pick up but struggle to finish. Still watchable, but not without a good break in between episodes.
9. Watari-Kun's ****** Is about to Collapse.. Ep.20
SUMMARY
Naoto is on the search for Satsuki and ends up getting in trouble for trying to sneak into a room. He has no intention of giving up against the great advice of his friends, and much to Ishihara's dismay. There is little Ishihara can do to get Naoto to look her way, but I'm surprised she is willing to help in the matter.
The plan to sneak Naoto into Satsuki's room was funny, seeing the squirming animation may have been the best thing produced for this anime. With that said, Naoto makes it to Satsuki's room but the mission is cut short by surprise inspections.
The final message from Naoto was intense, I like it. We need more of that from the guy and we can see that it meant a lot to Satsuki for him to write something so direct to what he feels.
While he was great in that moment, the MVP of the episode is Mr. Hoodie himself. Great plan from Watari to switch places as he did and finally getting to see Satsuki.
Now that he has Satsuki with him, Naoto takes her to a sunflower field where he gives her the photo she has been searching for. Here, Satsuki reveals that she left so she wouldn't get in the way of Naoto and his happiness. Naoto apologizes for his decision and arrogance but falls just short of confessing his love for her.
7/10, the winner has been decided, I think
10. Hands Off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun. Ep.7
SUMMARY
Chiyo vs Koyo round 2!
Chiyo is sent back to the torture realm as Koyo begins his massage. the armpit massage hurts enough to force tears out of Chiyo and, SEND HER TO THE TENTACLE TORTURE REALM?! Chiyo was going through it for much of this episode but her inner gamer helped her push through it in the end.
Chiyo prevails but at a great cost. She's now in the same dilemma as Izumi and Aoba as she has a crush developing for mister Koyo.
We move on to the start of school where is Koyo is summoned by another cute girl named Hayami. Aoba is on the defense here but Koyo is taken outside where Hayami makes a request for him to join them for a training camp. Does this mean we're getting more girls? I doubt it, but it will be Miyuki time soon!
6.5/10, make your choice Koyo
D: Do Not Recommend
Shows I do not recommend you watch for various issues.
11. Tales of Wedding Rings Season 2. Ep.7
SUMMARY
We got a heist mission going on!
Satou almost get's crushed by some golems while Maasa creates a distraction in her dragon form. Best girl Amber is able to beat the golems so the team can move forward into armory; however, they're caught by the emperor inside who has a sudden change of heart.
Turns out the ring king's sword has no real value. All is well however, we have another sword just across the hallway ready to be used. But that isn't what matters here, I'm glad the emperor calls Satou out. Why is Satou still hoping to find power some other way, WHEN WE ALREADY KNOW WHAT HE MUST DO TO GET ALL THE POWER HE NEEDS! Oh, he is scared to lose himself, and he doesn't want to betray Krystal, and whatever other excuse he can come up with. Bunk this, Satou infuriates me.
Back to Krystal! Morion follows Krystal to see just how she has improved so qiuickly; turns out, she's schitzophrenic! Oh wait, no, it's the abyss!
I like this attack from the abyss. Attacking the ring girls is the best way to weaken the king himself and they are separated at the moment so there is no better opportunity. I don't fault Krystal for falling into their grasp, seeing her mother must have destroyed any defenses she may have had up.
Krystal is taken into the spell by one of the Abyss and it is here where I can give some credit to the author. It's well known that Krystal has issues with sharing Satou despite their position. Even if she has said that she is fine with it, it's clear that the desire to have Satou all to herself is still hidden deep within her.
Krystal allows herself to fall into her own desire and becomes Abyss Krystal! The design is nice, I just never expected the girl from the poster to be Krystal herself. It's a nice twist that could work if this sudden dive into Krystal's deisres has an important effect on the relationship for all the girls.
Ehhhhhh, ok. 6/1, the twist is nice and it could lead to something good but! 3/10, this man Satou really asked for Krystal and didn't have a care in the world for the other two! Bunk this guy, I hope the Abyss wins
12. One-Punch Man Season 3. Ep.6
SUMMARY
Despite the non existent animation, the writing still has some saving graces. This episode was funny with Tornado almost losing her mind and the best character King wondering how he has gotten himself into this yet again. I just love the guy.
The meeting was almost 8 straight minutes of still floating images, followed by some more of it with less exciting characters. Although the support group isn't as cool as the S rank heroes, we still have some nice designs and get rewarded with an appearance from Silverfang.
Altough King tried to get out of the mission, his luck just won't allow it. He's quick on his feet however and had a new plan ready within moments.
Bunk all that however, we got Fubuki this episode! She's not allowing herself to be left out of the mission and we have her meet with Genos whose got some attack based upgrades. Soon after, the hotpot group gathers at Saitama's place but the guy has already left to... a sewer?
5/10, just make the rest of the episodes Fubuki dancing to i cant stop me by twice
F: Bad
Anime with glaring issues that make them not only difficult to watch, but the watcher angry at times.
