With the season coming to an end, I'd like to say this hyped season exceeded expectations. Seriously, the quality of anime is at an all time and it is an honor to be able to watch with ease now. This season is a great example of why this wonderful medium is so amazing, from tragic and though provoking anime like Takopi, to weird ones like DanDaDan, to upcoming gems like Gachiakuta, what a time.
S: Must Watch
Episodes I believe you must watch or are missing out on.
1. Call of The Night. Ep.11
SUMMARY
The sudden transition in color, music, and atmosphere are masterfully done in this anime. That scene of Ko was crazy.
Ahah, that’s hot. But we move onto the mystery, just what is happening to Yamori? Becoming a vampire for an instant was something I never expected, but it is confirmation that Yamori can fall in love.
I do hope we continue to see more of Anko. Not just for her cool character, great design, and interesting traits. Believe it or not, my favorite thing about her is her voice. Good lord the performance is something else and my favorite of the anime.
I do agree with Anko’s belief of love. Although mix up is vague, I also believe love can just happen when one least expects it. Of course, effort can also bring it forth, but the beauty of love is how it can come from different ways and people.
9/10, hair out Nazuna does it for me
2. Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai 2. Ep.2
SUMMARY
I love the opening for this season, issa banger.
Now, hold on, my head hurts.
Everyone having an interconnected dream is a great twist paired with the fact that Mai didn’t have one. The crashing of the website adds to the fact that a lot of people had a dream, even if it’s connected in a miniscule way.
One thing that has been happening as of late, and one thing I must improve upon, is the twists we’re getting. Mitou seeing Miniskirt Santa was a genuine surprise, it gives Sakuta a partner in crime for what is to come. The hints are clear that miniskirt santa has a connection wit Takumi, I wonder if it is a similar case to Mai and Sakuta but this time he hasn’t remembered her yet.
9/10, the mystery has been magnificent so far
3. Gachiakuta. Ep.10
SUMMARY
They took Rudo to a treasure trove, what a time for him to be alive. I was wondering if Remlin would travel with the group, but we already know that the artist are free spirits, for better or worse. Still, I hope to see her again.
The ground is full of wierdos. How did I never notice the chokers? It’s a great little touch but it gets beat by their awesome full face mask.
The fight was good, but I did not expect Amo to show herself as she did. After the group showed off, I expect there was trickery that lead to that ending scene, though it could be raw strength which would be just as frightening.
9.5/10, Rudo’s mask goes crazy
4. Dan Da Dan. Ep.24
SUMMARY
Season 3 has been annocuned!
This was a very good season that, in my opinion, really picked up after the hunting soul performance.
Quality wise, the anime is stellar all around. From animation, to style, to direction, voice acting, music, and most of all, weirdness. I can say with full confidence that there are few anime like this and recommend it
The amount of structural damage Kinta committed this episode is up there for all time high records.
I wasn’t a fan of Kinta, but I could never look away from a guy who continued to love his hobby and passion even when being ridiculed for it. It was such a common thing for people of my generation to be bullied for liking anime in our younger years, I see myself in him.
They didn’t have to make the kaiju girl hot, but they did and I have no problems with it. The kiss was unexpected, but not as much as another cliffhanger ending tot he season! Oh well, very much look forward to the next season.
overall 9/10
A: Very Good
Good episodes, anime I would recommend to someone looking for something to watch.
5. Kaiju No. 8. Ep.21
SUMMARY
The montage of the kaiju appearing with the eerie music was stellar. The one that looks like kikoru with black hair broke my heart.
Kikoru getting her mother’s kaiju weapon made me happy, but the little girl remembering Kafka was just as sweet. It seems the other kaiju weapons will also be used so we’re going down the route of Kafka having help.
This episode threw a lot of unexpected things at us, but the meeting with Mina was a well deserved one.
With that said, I can see this anime ending with a sad ending. Kafka is a nice guy with a lot to prove, and it is that which will lead him to sacrifice himself. Of course, I could be wrong. I hope I am.

6. Sakamoto Days. Ep.11
SUMMARY
There’s nothing wrong with a little weight! Little sad that Slur got to Mafuyu and Nao, but it will be cool to see them fight even if as enemies.
Sakamoto failing was a great twist, but I’m not sure if he would be good teacher given his talent. With that said, Sakamoto’s new form is incredible. Just what is Nagumo’s ability?
I’ve seen a lot of criticism for Sakamoto days, some warranted, most not. I believe this has been a fun watch with good characters. Shin is endearing and Sakamoto is great given that he just wants to protect his family. As of late, anime watchers have become far to critical of even the slightest things when quality itself is at an all time high. Of course, criticism is warranted, and should be voiced, but one can still support an anime while doing so and I believe Sakamoto days is deserving of just that. I think they had the best opening visuals of the season, and the ending is just as good. The fights were good, and the season itself interesting with great set up for what is to come.
8.5/10 overall for the season, 10/10 Osaragi
7. The Rising of the Shield Hero. Ep.11
SUMMARY
Sadeena put up a good fight but Shildina cheated! Lot of power ups this episode, but the sudden transformation is what caught me most off guard. Or so it would have been if not for the attack on the castle right after.
Maybe I missed it, but who is Raphtalia’s twin? Whoever it is, I really like their weapon. Small person with comically large weapon is an elite combination and I won’t hear otherwise.
Moving on, I have enjoyed this season but if this arc ends next episode than it was unfortunately rushed. I doubt it will be, and if it doesn’t then we have potential for greatness. That’s right, Raphtalia full racoon mode!
8/10, we need the racoon!
8. My Dress-Up Darling Season 2. Ep.23
SUMMARY
I enjoy the anime’s main theme of doing what you love without fear of being judged.
Juju almost giving up cosplaying made me sad but I’m glad she will continue. I mean, she’s meant to be a cosplayer and she even got to cosplay a character she always wanted to in this episode.
Marin is more self aware than I thought, though she doesn’t let much bother her which is an incredible. Hold on, Kawai Kawai. Yea, had to since the banger of an ending started.
Back to Marin! Although she is happy go lucky, she’s very kind and makes an effort not to be mean to others, when they’re not hitting on her that is. Good for her, perhaps one of the most likable girls in anime of all time.

9. Witch Watch. Ep.23
SUMMARY
As an author, data loss is the bane of my existence. I’m very careful now, plenty of back ups, but the trauma from losing hours of hard work haunts me to this day.
I’m glad Dengeki melon cares for Kuku as she does. Even if she may be a fan, an online meeting can still be a dangerous thing to do alone without proper precaution.
Unfortunately, Kuku goes through it this episode. Sometimes, nothing is as planned but I’m glad she has someone like Nico to help out.

10. The Water Magician. Ep.11
SUMMARY
Yo, Oscar has been through it. Most would have become evil which can be fun in its own right, but it’s always nice to see someone stay nice.
Bunk that however, we are going to get Ryo vs Oscar! I don’t care if we’re using the misunderstanding trope, this is a fight I’m looking forward to.

11. Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon Season 2. Ep.12
SUMMARY
I did not expect such a beat down from Nevee, or this anime in general. Revenge must be sweet, Nevee was awesome without even giving up on his prey to a stratum lord.
Putting the stratum lord with booze was smart, but beating them with Boxxo made me laugh much harder than I care to admit. I wish we would have got a whole montage of this attack.
The Kikoyu moment was nice, the date must have been her birthday, the instant growth must be jarring. A magical transformation scene would have been amazing, give the people what they want.
I’ve said this a lot, but this anime surprises me. The creativeness is what carries the anime, though I’m still surprised at the lack of fan service which could bring in more fans, or push some away. Even so, there is enough for an insane idea to be entertaining so I give my compliments to the author. I wonder what other vending machines we’ll see in the future.
Overall, 7.5/10, season 3 is in the works
C: It's ok/ Fine
These are shows I happen to pick up but struggle to finish. Still watchable, but not without a good break in between episodes.
12. A Couple of Cuckoos. Ep.11
SUMMARY
It always surprises me how well music is done in anime. Seriously, any time there is singing in the manga the animation studios take it as a challenge to make it good. Ai’s song is pretty good, and this performance was cute.
I give props to everyone who went on stage. I did a few times during school, each time as nerve wrecking as the last, maybe even more so once you know of the pressure of the stage.
I’d be stunned by the reveal as well, but that guy was going crazy. It gave Nagi a chance to look cool and maybe give us a chance to see what is end game. Maybe, I don’t know, the author doesn’t either.

13. Watari-Kun's ****** Is about to Collapse.. Ep.11
SUMMARY
For you milf lovers, this is your episode.
Meeting parents was always the worst part of any relationship, a fear I hope to never feel again. The pressure is way too much, though Watari handled it well in my opinion.
Ishihara seemed like a cute puppy for a good but man is she deep into her own lack of confidence. I get the worry as Satsuki is really pretty, the youthful mind is often rash and I like how the anime presents it.
Momma Ishihara may have a point, though I wish I knew more about what she knows. For now, I guess she just understands Ishihara well and what her lack of confidence may lead her to do. In that sense, yea, she is a child.
Hey man, this was supposed to be a messy youthful love anime, why are they giving good advice about the dangers of sex, the responsibility that comes with it, and of the problems the youth face in relationships and with their own self image?

Shows I do not recommend you watch for various issues.

Anime with glaring issues that make them not only difficult to watch, but the watcher angry at times.
14. Rent A Girlfriend Season 4. Ep.12
SUMMARY
Good lord they’re dragging it out to another season. I apologize, I was wrong about getting that scene, though we are very very close. They’re edging the hate watching team, despicable but genius at the same time.
Nothing much to say about this season that hasn’t been said about the others, Kazuya and Chizuru are the worst couple to ever be animated.
1/10, I want borderlands four but the guy makes me not want to buy it. I’ll just wait for the full edition on sale. Oh! Kazuya sucks
